The Company:
Our client is a major LNG company.

The Role:
Serves as primary recruiting contact external recruiters and for strategic HR and staffing issues, products and services; provides guidance, counsel and policy interpretation on HR & staffing issues and challenges; works collaboratively with HR generalists and clients to identify workforce/staffing issues and to meet clients’ external workforce needs in a timely manner.
• Partners with HR Generalists and SLNG clients on HR issues related to recruiting sources, hiring, on-boarding, and related employee relations issues. Partners with HR Generalists and clients to develop and implement recruiting strategies to fill job vacancies and meet client's staffing needs while ensuring client adheres to EEO/Affirmative Action, labor and other employment laws. Screens recruiting agencies/vendors and initiates and maintains recruiting contracts with recruiting vendors.
• Responsible for assisting in the HR generalist activities of the SLNG HR department. Conducts employee relations investigations; assists management with performance improvement plans and assists with separations. Provides guidance and policy interpretation on Human Resources policies and procedures. Assists in the annual ICP and Salary Planning process and other joint HR activities and projects.
• Provides work guidance, feedback and development to Staffing Associate to ensure compliance with internal and external HR requirements including employee file maintenance, records retention, compliance, integrity of HRIS systems such as ATS, EV3 and My Info and all necessary steps associated with the processing of new hires.
• Analyzes the Company’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) as it relates to the hire/movement of minorities, women and the disabled; provides guidance and counsel in achieving affirmative action goals to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Uses workforce reports to ensure AAP strategies are targeting appropriate recruiting groups.
• Enhances company’s recruiting reputation within the energy industry through participation in recruiting efforts and targeted job fairs

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and/or coursework in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Requires 5 years’ experience in HR and Recruitment – including Applicant Tracking Systems.
Experience with payroll and HRIS systems preferred.
SHRM or related certificate preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office programs.
Must have exceptional customer service skills ensuring manager’s needs are being met or addressed.
Must be politically astute and be able to handle conflicting interests.
Must be able to acknowledge and expose all sides to issues and facilitate a resolution.
Must be able to maintain confidential information and remain professional at all times.
