The Company:
Our client ABB is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The Role:
We are recruiting for HR Advisor to be based in our clients office in Aberdeen. To be considered for this role you will BTEC qualified with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clerical or secretarial support role. Secretarial and non-technical clerical support staff.

Role:
To act as initial point of contact for all local HR related issues to the ABB Country Service Organisation based in ABB Aberdeen, providing advice and guidance on process and procedure locally in line with the HR Strategy and organisational policy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance to Line Managers and colleagues in discharging their responsibilities within the UK HR procedures.
- Ensure all procedures are carried out within existing organisational policy, referring all potential non-policy issues to the Divisional HR Manager - CSO
- Act as the HR representative in all OSA processes for permanent and temporary staff
- Coach and Counsel Line Manager in dealing with day-to-day employee relations issues in own are of knowledge
- Ensure HR Centre Services receives timely and accurate information required to support the OSA processes within relevant payroll deadlines.
- Act as local HR representative in first level disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Develop the local learning and development capability
- Ad-hoc projects as required by the Divisional HR Manager – CSO
- Additional duties as occasionally required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- CIPD Qualified
- Degree qualified or equivalent by experience
