We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to work on a fabrication Yard in Korea.
The role will include Recruitment/HR, Manning Plan, Mobilisations, Administration and Contract Support Services.
Responsibilities to include:
Recruitment/HR
• Liaising with the HR Fabrication teams in Perth, on all vacancies both expat and local hires to Korea.
• Liaising with Line Managers to ensure the Recruitment process on the Project and the companies processing are followed.
• Participating in the weekly Project teleconference resource meetings.
• Coordinating and producing Recruitment Activity Reports (head count analysis) and New Starter/ Leaver reports weekly.
• Assist in the production of ad- hoc reports as and when required.
• Issue Change of Status forms for all personnel changes, movement’s onsite including salary reviews and promotions.
• Liaise with all joint venture partners and Owner Company’s regarding new starters, personnel movements and demobilizations.
• Responding to general HR enquiries from employees and Managers that arise.
• Roll out necessary training on EEO and Management Feedback as/when required.
• Provide advice and interpret project policies and conditions.
• Gain an understanding for Local Korean Labour Law.
• Conduct exit interviews and monitor turnover statistics
• Monitoring RBS (Retention Bonus Scheme) end dates and liaising closely with RBS Administrators in Perth.
Manning Plan:
• Work closely with Project Controls and the senior leadership team to update, maintain and change positions on the HHI site manning plan when required.
• Involvement in monthly/quarterly manning plan reviews.
• Ensure all positions on site are budgeted for and appropriate documentation/records are in place.
• Update and maintain the sites organisational management flow chart
• Produce a monthly report on Headcount, Turnover & Forecast manpower stats

Mobilisations:
Working with the HR corporate groups - to provide the required information they need for mobilisations in a timely manner. If required, assist with the organising of the movement of International Staff onto the Project to various locations.
Administration:
• Working with the PAF Coordinators, maintain the Team Roster with new starters, mobilisations, PAF revisions and Demobilisations on the Project.
• Responsible for new starter administration in relation to the project- setting up electronic files, sending out new starter information to internal departments, co-ordinating and carrying out welcome meetings, chasing outstanding new starter information.
• Working with the Project Administration Assistants in coordinating the Project Induction for new starters which includes;
 ID badges
 Housing
 Workstation setup
 Visa Registration
 Schooling for approved dependents
 Vehicle assignment
• Responsible for all project paper-based and electronic filling for all project personnel.
• Carry out work on ad- hoc projects supporting the Fabrication Yard HR Lead as and when required.
• Review and sign off on all travel & expense claims to ensure it’s compliant with the Projects Travel Policy & Project Assignment Terms and Conditions.
• Ensuring the approved Material Requisition process is adhered to.
• Maintain the project Events Budget.
• Responsible for processing payment on select project events using the project debit card.
• Issuing of all project awards vouchers and maintaining a petty cash float.
• Main focal contact point/site representative for ensuring compliance with the Code of Business Conduct and FCPA Business Courtesies Procedure.
Support Services Contracts:
• Assist the Site Services Manager as and when required to interpret and coordinate the four Service Provider Contracts in place.
• Ensuring compliance with Service Requests issued
Safety
• Safety is paramount and will not be compromised.
• Training in the company Incident and Injury Free Safety Process will be provided.


Essential Requirements:
• HR tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five year practical HR generalist/advisor level experience
• Prior knowledge or experience with the Gorgon Project highly desirable
• Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures and experience with an administrative focus.
• Results orientated
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be PC proficient in key packages such as Excel, Word and databases.
• Have good attention to detail and able to use their initiative.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build relationships with Line Managers.
• Must be reliable and have the ability to work autonomously whilst also being a team player
