The Company:
Our client is a major operator in the oil and gas sector.

The Role:
This role is for 12 months' maternity cover.

Reporting to the Contracts and HR Manager, support delivery of the HR strategy for approximately 80 UK-based employees, which in turn delivers business goals and future growth and profitability for client.

• Organisational design: position profiling, organisational structuring, headcount management
• Talent management & succession planning: responsible for the attraction, development and recruitment of talent
• Policy: advise on policies and processes
• Compliance: ensure compliance with relevant UK employment legislation and company standards, including all audit requirements
• Change management: implementation of improvement initiatives
• Engagement: analysis of client's EVP and employee communications
• Compensation & Benefits: review of internal and external data, support internal moves, promotions and the annual salary review
• Projects: contribute to ad hoc projects as required (for example, Onboarding, e-Learning, Procurement)
• Reporting: provision and review of HR Management Information
• Performance & Development: coordinate employee probation, performance, training and development processes

This role is supported by an HR Administrator, an HR Systems Advisor and a Contracts Advisor (all direct reports of the Contracts and HR Manager).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the UK, an HR qualification and be flexible in terms of office hours.
