The Role:
We currently have the requirement for a HR Advisor. This is a part-time position, based at Dyce.

Responsibilities and Tasks

To provide an efficient and effective H.R generalist support Service to Enovate Systems Limited management and staff in line with Company expectations. Activities will focus on the provision of services relating to – Attract, Select, Develop, Perform, Reward, Retain.

To assist these Managers in the interpretation of the T’s & C’s of Employment, HR Policies and Procedures and HR best practice.

To challenge and correct any non standard courses of action or potentially precedent setting activities.

To act as focal point with internal and external organisations and colleagues with regard to shared activities and programs regarding activities in the areas of Attract, Select, Develop, Reward, Perform & Retain.

Generalist HR Support Activities

• Supporting & advising Managers in the interpretation of the Terms & Conditions of Employment, HR Policies and Procedures and HR best practice.

• As required to support the Resourcing process, providing support and advice to line managers in the recruitment and selection process, and assisting management where appropriate during the interviewing process to ensure best practice is followed.

• Support and assisting in the delivery of Company training courses and programs. Delivering training to managers in support of new business processes or activities where required.

• Support the 90 Day Plan onboarding process by supporting line managers to driving its implementation and progression forward within Enovate Systems Limited for all new hires.

• Responsible for Enovate Systems Limited’s exit interview process, monitoring the process, conducing interviews where required and making appropriate recommendations to management to improve retention.

• Supporting and providing advice and guidance on employee relations issues.

• Providing advice and guidance to managers on conducting the disciplinary/grievance process.

• Supporting and providing advice to management on aspects of UK Employment Law legislation and any potential impact on their activities.

• Working with sister companies HR Departments to ensure a consistent “One Company” approach is followed in these areas where possible.

• Liaising with External Service providers as required.

• Undertaking ad-hoc projects to meet business and personal work objectives.

• Attend external events such as recruitment fairs & graduate fairs in support of business activities and as Company representative

• Liaising with Company Doctors regarding employee health issues.


• Ensuring that administration is carried out professionally, promptly and accurately, following best practice guidelines and in accordance with Company procedure.
• Support HR Advisors in the administration of changes to employee’s terms and conditions, i.e. drafting of change to terms and conditions letters.
• Managing the administration of all agency/contract and staff leavers.
• Acting in a proactive manner to ensure all HR records/spreadsheets are kept up to date.
• Updating of electronic personnel files and general filing tasks.
• Administer the long service awards programme.
• Responsible for the Probationary Review admin process.
• Assist in maintaining HR guidelines, procedures and work instructions in accordance with company policy and current employment legislation.


• Responsibility for monthly headcounts.
• Responsibility for monthly pension reports.
• Responsibility for monthly finance and HSE reports.
• Completion of planned and ad-hoc reports and distribute as necessary.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
CIPD qualified or equivalent.
Degree or equivalent relevant qualification
Demonstrable relevant experience of working in an HR department, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience of conducting disciplinary hearings.
Experience of conducting interviews.
Good administrative skills with a high regard for attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge in SAP.
Knowledge of discipline at work and UK employment law
Presentation skills.
