The Role:
The HR and L&D Administrator position is a key role for the Refinery HR team. The role is responsible for Support to the HR and L&D Team by providing robust administration for HR and Learning and Development (L&D) activities. This includes the management of both current and historical HR and L& D data and provides HR project support.

Key responsibilities:-

Manage the transfer of all HR and L&D records and any other related data to ensure that it is catalogued, stored and where relevant archived and easily accessible for auditing.

Work with HR Project Lead to provide support to the HR, Payroll and L&D transition project.

Maintain personnel records to a high level of accuracy and in line with data protection and legal requirements.
Manage the offer process for all external recruitment

Put in place system to ensure accurate and timely update of all on the job and local training.

Manage training records and training plans in line with data protection and legislative requirements.

Audit, maintain and update data on the HRIS system, to ensure quality business information is accurate and quickly available to support business delivery, decisions or improvements.
Manage and support HR projects and initiatives, including, Manager and Employee Self Service.
Produce, analyse and distribute KPI's metrics for the team to facilitate process improvement and monitor the sites HR & L&D performance.
Provide support to site training events as required.
Administer and support the HR Communications process to ensure regular engagement with staff across the Refinery. Includes the management of the communications schedule and notices to deliver an effective and timely service to the site.

Key Requirements:
HNC or VQ in administration at level 3

Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Ability to prioritise own tasks and deliver to deadlines, able to change direction quickly to meet business needs.
Able to proactively support change.
Data Management - competent in managing confidential information ensuring integrity of the systems and appropriate retention mechanisms are in place.
Strong IT skills, including all MS applications to an intermediate level including desktop publishing, web page management and HR systems.
