The Company:
Our major oil and gas client is seeking an HR Assistant for a 6 month opportunity in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
Responsibilities:

HR Systems: SAP and TAS: Personnel data entry/update (e-forms), run reports, TAS- create and track requisitions, assist with data audits, etc.
Resourcing: coordinate on-boarding process (tracking start to end), help new hires to contact appropriate stakeholders with questions on benefits
Policies: follow up to ensure completion of the random drug testing, assist with administration of FML process (leave Calendar, leave banks etc and Commuting miles, DOT background check request submissions
HR data: Analyze and track HR data for different reporting (as needed)
Organization Charts: Create and maintain organizational charts (as needed)
Help HR Advisors to address employee questions and to escalate issues as needed (follow through the resolution)

Having the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data, high volume of requests, large organization, multitasking

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good understanding of the functionalities of SAP
Good Microsoft office skills: Excel, Word
Basic understanding of HR regulations/policies/processes: FML, FLSA, termination and hiring
Good team player
