The Company:
As the world's largest exploration and production company with an operational presence in over 29 countries, Our client is leading the way in both upstream and downstream oil and gas projects with further development projects in the pipeline for the future.

The Role:
Ever wanted to provide HR support and advise for an internationally renowned exploration and production oil and gas company? Are you based in Darwin with experience in General Human Resources within the Oil and Gas, Resources sector? Then no need to look further, our client is in need of a HR Business Partner for a 12 Month Maternity Leave cover based in Darwin.

As the successful candidate your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Employee engagement and development support - Performance Reviews and Succession Planning
- Strategy development and exit processes
- End to End recruitment processes for domestic, international, expatriate, trainee and apprentice
- Provide Facilitation, inductions, workshops and training experiences
- Provide general HR support (Performance management, performance improvement plans and disciplinary investigations) and advice to leaders and employees

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years experience in General HR
- Based in Darwin
- Proven HR experience within Oil & gas/ Resources experience
- Strong exposure to: Attraction & retention programs, compensation & Benefits, employee engagement surveys/strategies, learning & development, Health & wellness programs and Performance Management and disciplinary processes
- Degree in Human Resources
- Exposure to Industrial Relations desirable
- SAP or integrated HRM system highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships
