The Role:
Working closely with Operations, this role is responsible for leading and developing Human Resources best practice initiatives/activities. As well as responsibility for facilitating compliance with the HSEQ Management System, providing specialist advice and resources on HSEQ issues.
Key responsibilities include:
• Improve People Focus culture through effective leadership and elimination of practices inconsistent with a People Focussed culture
• Implement and monitor HR/IR policies and procedures within the region to maintain a consistently high standard of compliance ensuring best practice implementation
• Develop and facilitate innovative, high impact cost effective training and recruitment solutions
• Track ongoing People & HSEQ measures, monitoring and reporting. Track performance & identify improvement opportunities
• Provide timely and professional Human Resources advice and support at all levels
This role would give you the opportunity to shape and lead a HR team within a worldwide organisation. Implementing and developing strategies and procedures in line with company policy and business needs. Communications across all levels of the business is essential for this role to be a success.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR leadership role, with exposure to HSEQ
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline.
• A high level of computer literacy
• Experience in Incident Investigation
• Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring HSE programs in a multi-service environment
