The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Provide expertise and insights to the HR policies & Org. Development Manager on various topics pertaining to HR policies and programs.
1. Assist HR Service Manager in planning and administering all personnel functions which includes, but not limited to, recruiting actions, issuance of, change of job status, performance records, training activities, leaves of absence and terminations.
2. Conducts a wide range of activities related to assigning work to subordinates, tracking progress, provide mentorship and coaching and advise on the final work product quality.
3. Identifies developmental and training needs to subordinates and ensure there are 100% work coverage in the team in case of vacations and out of company assignments.
4. Ensure that the client’s policies and procedures are in compliance with Saudi labor laws, and update the client’s regulations to meet local and international standards.
5. Ensure proper communication between benefits payroll and HR policies such as: sick leaves, vacations etc.
6. Conduct special studies and investigate individual or group employee problems such as those related to work conditions, and recommend appropriate actions according to industry best practices.
7. Responsible for maintenance of policies, and client HR Manual revisions on regular basis.
8. Conducts an on- going policies evaluation and track/communicate any changes occurred and support the development of HR policies & procedures by providing industry best practices and ensuring a proper implementation throughout the client.
9. Benchmark and compare the client pay scales to the market and ensure proper salary structures are maintained and adjust where necessary to remain competitive.
10. Responsible for calculating and preparing the merit guidelines (distribution) and approved percentage annually.
11. Benchmark and compare the Annual Variable Pay to maintain our competitive packages aligned with concerned market.
12. Provide expert advice of reward strategies in order to develop the optimal reward packages that will enable the client to attract and retain needed talents.
13. Oversee the performance of HR systems containing personal records and ensure confidentiality, safe keeping, accuracy and reliability.
14. Collect and analyse relevant information pertaining to HR activities in order to identify improvement opportunities and new technologies.
15. Provide technical work directions to HR employees in the HR Services and HR policies & Org. Development Department to ensure high quality HR activities.
16. Evaluate and keeps management informed of unusual personnel problems, employee attitudes, upward communication, counselling and recommend appropriate solutions.
17. Advice and counsel all level of client Management relative to HR policies and procedures and with with representatives of Saudi government agencies, other companies, and private agencies related to developing data, exchanging information and developing comparative background information.
18. Participate in setting the Industrial Relations’ functional strategy by providing insights into HR needs and requirements and participate closely in the employee termination process such as: exit interviews and end of services entitlements.
19. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
