The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a HR Team Assistant in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
CONTRACT DETAILS
A three month contract assignment to provide support and administrative services to HR to help with the high volume. Pay will depend on experience.
SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will support the Human Recourses executing administrative duties, including documenting key action items and coordinating candidate interviews and travel. The employee will also be responsible for maintaining and coordinating meetings, conferences, telecommunications, calendars, and files.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Provide administrative services to three (3) HR representatives (Project Manager, Recruiter, and Sourcer) and Drilling Hiring Manager (as needed)
• Assist with scheduling meetings, including agendas, equipment, catering, etc.
• Compose letters, memos, presentations, and general correspondence with timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage calendar and appointments.
• Coordinate logistical and staffing needs for career fairs.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed in their clerical needs.
• Sort, distribute and handle incoming mail and faxes as well as screen and handle telephone calls.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and responsibilities and work well under pressure.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
At least five years experience as an Administrative Assistant with computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
