The Role:
Provide HSE Advisor support to the HSE team and guidance to a multi-disciplined engineering team, and further to assist with engagement with external regulators or stakeholders to ensure all regulatory approvals are progressed in the most efficient manner.

•Work as part of a multi-discipline team in preparing and reviewing the HSE Management System documentation and procedures for:

•All activities to be conducted from the Work Vessels

•All activities to be conducted as part of the Heavy Lift Removal Scope

•Attend HAZID’s, Risk Assessments and conduct project office visits, UK and Europe as necessary

•Prepare the Work Vessel induction programme and deliver the programme with the support of the Decommissioning Management Team

•Preparation of COMOPS Emergency Response Plans and COMOPS Notifications

•Provide support and assist in preparation of technical information related to the Decommissioning Programme

•Provide support and assist in preparation of technical information in support of decommissioning engineering studies.

•Support Offshore AWV HSE Advisers and OIM’s in all Health & Safety related matters

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Formal HSE qualification NEBOSH General Certificate or better
•Understanding of HSE Management Systems
•Understanding of Combined Operations documentation and relevant notifications to regulators.
•Familiar with HAZID / HAZOP & Risk Assessment and able to Chair as required
•Highly analytical & logical approach to determining and presenting technical information
•Ability to travel offshore
•Ability to provide HSE guidance to a multi-discipline team.
•Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
•Knowledge of Offshore legislative procedures and systems of work.
•Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines and a track record of delivering results
•Ability to carry out HSE Auditing
