The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
The primary objective of this position is to provide management of contractors HSE performance; providing HSE assurance across all Onshore work packages; and support Onshore HSE team members and package managers.

Key responsibilities of this position include:
• Review contractor HSE management systems. Assure a standardised approach to HSE across the Onshore packages, contracts and locations from through EPC to operations.
• Develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, plans and emergency response documentation, aligned with Project and Client requirements for each package through the various phases of the project.
• Provide support, assurance and expert advice on matters relating to HSE management systems to achieve HSE objectives and performance targets.
• Maintain a HSE MS audit plan as part of the integrated Audit and Assurance schedule. Plan and Lead HSE MS Audits.
• Implement and monitor HSE objectives, targets and performance standards, monitoring and verification programmes, to ensure Client HSE expectations are being achieved by EPC contractors and sub-contractors across the Onshore packages.
• Provide support and relief for Lead HSE Advisors as required.
• Support the development and delivery of HSE training packages in conjunction with the HSE Training coordinator.
• Work with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions to HSE risks and issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Obtained or working towards achievement of graduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Lead OHS Auditor qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience within major projects. Previous LNG experience is desirable.
• Thorough understanding of the project development process through FEED, EPC phase.
• Experience in implementation of HSE systems and providing assurance on major projects.
• Experience and understanding of behavioural based safety systems would be beneficial.
• Good communicator and interpersonal skills, including the ability to network effectively with diverse stakeholders is required.
