The Role:
Provide HSE Support to the Project HSE Manager in delivery of HSE activities including supporting Technical Safety Engineers, close out HSE Action Items, participating in audits, participating in incident investigations, and deputising for the HSE Manager.
Work in accordance with the Capital Projects Management System.
Participate in the delivery of the Human Factors Implementation Plan.
Provide HSE support to the Technical Safety Engineers.
Provide HSE support to the Project Engineers.
Participate in the expediting of the Project Environmental Activities.
Support the Project reporting requirements and maintain and review HSE records and statistical information.
Participate in the Project HSE meetings.
Support the close out of HSE actions applied in the Action Tracking System.
Participate in incident investigations.
Monitor and promote Safety at all subcontractors and fabricators.
Contribute to Project Dashboards, Weekly and Monthly Activity Reports.
Liaise with principle contractor HSE personnel.
Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel and contractors.
Review project documentation that is circulated within Livelink.
Support and implement HSE Initiatives on the Project.
Support internal HSE audits within Company and Contracting companies.
Support project specific or otherwise special, HSE plans and safety cases as required.
Monitor changes in HSE statutory legislation, rules and regulations, and ensure communication of necessary information throughout the organisation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Clearly demonstrated strong technical competence and reliable decision-making.
Demonstrated interpersonal / teambuilding skills and the resolve to get the job done safely.
Knowledge of regulations and industry best practices for offshore construction.
Command of the English language, both oral and written.
Ability to get results with positive support, direction and influence rather than punitive actions within a “no blame” HSE culture.
Current BOSIET certificate.
