An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:

As HSE advisor you will be responsible for the development, implementation and compliance of the approved Gorgon Downstream HESQ management systems and work procedures under the direction of the HESQ Superintendent. This position advises on all HESQ aspects related to the logistics and Quarantine areas and regularly review, monitor report, audit and improve the HSEQ systems. The primary focus is to provide guidance and quality assurance to Gorgon Downstream Contractors to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

Specific Duites include :
• Monitor contractor work activities and verify project HSS standards are being adhered to
• Undertake HES inspections of equipment and work areas with participation with line management.
• Provide coaching to contractor line management and HES personnel on project HES requirements
• Undertake compliance audits of contractor HES program on project HES requirements.
• Participate and promote the project Hazard intervention Program
• Undertake investigations/RCA and compile reports
• Compile safety bulletins and other report as necessary
• Promote an incident and injury Free culture

Essential Requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively on H&S matters to various levels of management.
• Ability to develop documentation and systems of work and procedures
• Understanding of relevant legal and other requirements
• Grad diploma or higher qualification in Health & Safety
• Previous H& S experience within either logistics or construction projects

• Can contribute to the development of the HSEQ Management System, plans and procedures for the future
