The Company:
Oil company which has a strong reputation globally in being involved with complex and exciting projects.

The Role:
The position will report daily to the Line (Construction Manager, Draugen Projects), but functionally through the HSE Function (Draugen HSE Lead Execution, PandT Norway Projects). The position will work closely with the project teams and operation. The HSE advisor will be particularly focused on following up various projects sites (including the Draugen platform).

- Support/lead implementation of initiatives to improve the HSE culture and performance
- Give input to and follow up the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plans for the execution phase of the projects
- Facilitate/Participate in Risk Assessments and Safety Reviews
- Participate in Safe Job Analysis (SJA) and Toolbox Talks as appropriate
- Support and lead incident investigations – provide input to Incident Review Panel (IRP) meetings as required
- Monitor HSE performance data and trends (including RUH statistics) and propose improvements
- Participate in /lead HSE audits, reviews, verifications and inspections
- Report incident into Fountain. Monitor and ensure follow-up and close-out of project HSE actions
- Carry out HSE inductions and provide HSE awareness and implementation briefing/training as required to both the company and Contractor staff
- Manage Emergency Preparedness activities. Check the emergency plan against heli booking.
- Managing the delivery and exchange of emergency card.
- Support operation with new people arriving and depurating, flight list, bring luggage from “heli –deck”
- New arrivals security round and give HSE introduction
- Run planned HSE campaigns and post HSE information
- Assist with cabin plan

Additional Info:
- This position is for normal 2-4 offshore rotation. Job equivalent to JG4.
- The start date for this position is soonest
- 6 months duration, with a possibility for extension.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Science/Engineering or in HSE.
- 10+ years of experience, preferably in a site-based HSE position.
- HSE Management experience preferably in an E&P related industry e.g. operations, engineering, and construction.
- Be conversant with HSE Management practices and procedures and be able to apply these to complex projects.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills together with the ability to interact with customers and contractors.
- A demonstrated passion and drive for HSE.
- A proven HSE track record.
- A good working knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
