The Company:
Our Client's fabrication capabilities providing quality fabrication, site services, and vessel mobilisations to the Subsea and Marine Industries
The site offers large undercover fabrication and painting halls, external fabrication capability and quayside frontage.
The company also offer project management and design capabilities.
The group can now provide a complete service from project management, design, procurement, fabrication, commissioning and testing through to loadout and delivery.

The Role:
The HSE Advisor is responsible for ensuring that activities are delivered in compliance with the HSE Manual, which incorporates statutory requirements. This includes providing professional advice, guidance and assistance to the Directors, Managers and other operational staff in the implementation of the company's occupational health and safety and environmental practices to ensure that the risks of activities and workplaces are appropriately managed.

Role Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Ensure competence of contractors HSE systems
- Ensure notice boards display mandatory signage
- Conduct or assist in the development and preparation of the project health and safety plan
- Conduct monthly HSE Audits
- Report all accident/incidents in accordance with the procedure
- Carry out all accident investigations
- Assist personnel conducting investigations
- Ensure competence of any sub-contractors is verified in accordance with company procedure
- Review method statements for approval
- Prepare and distribute emergency procedure and plans
- Ensure that there are sufficient trained First Aiders and that names and locations are prominently displayed
- Compile assessments
- Ensure all required information is provided to the user
- Prepare and keep up to date, adequate written site management arrangements
- Ensure all staff and operatives are appropriately trained in the areas of HSE/Plant/CCSS Cards
Ensure that all such training is appropriately recorded
Conduct periodic audits to ensure all training is up to date and training records are accurate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Certificate
- 5 years relevant experience
- NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 5 / Grad IOSH
- Train the Trainer Qualifications
- OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001 Auditor Qualifications
