The Role:
Title: HES Advisor / Consult / Safety Coach

IMA Job ID: H003

Exemption Classification: Exempt

Start Date: Candidate needs to ready to start ASAP

End Date: 9/30/14 - With the possibility of an extension to 11/30/14

Location: Offshore- Candidate needs to have all needed training and certification requirements in place to go offshore

Schedule: Rotational

Number of Positions Open: 3

Responsibilities:
• Works closely with the HSE Managers to ensure all HSE risks associated with the program are understood and appropriate systems, procedures, training and resources are in place to manage the risks
• Act as the client HES representative in multiple settings as necessary including offshore facilities and/or vessels conducting sub-sea construction and commissioning
• Assesses HSE aspects of Hook-up and Commissioning and Start-up procedures
• Reviews and approves HSE Plans, attends meetings and observes/advises work throughout the shift
• Establishes appropriate procedures to ensure operations are undertaken in accordance with the projects overall HSE Management System.
• Ensures all contractors work in a consistent manner with the projects HSE MS.
• Provide advice, support and guidance on HSE matters to project personnel.
• Ensures all HSE reporting is of good quality and is issued on time.
• Evaluate Safety Performances and develop with the contractors, programs to ensure continuous improvement
• Ensures strict compliance with the project Safety requirements.
• Investigates all Safety incidents/accidents and issue prompt reports.
• Assists in the establishment and maintaining of appropriate emergency response resources in accordance with the projects ERP
• Actively supports MOC requirements, Incident Investigation reports, field audits & inspections (Owner and contractor compliance)
• Willingness to undertake day or night shift as needed

Education:
Bachelor- This can be substituted by 5 -10 years of verified HUC and Start-up experience.

Years of Experience:
5-10 years Oil & Gas industry
Desired Expertise Offshore supporting late phase commissioning and start-up procedures
