The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join the HES management team.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Oversee the identification, implementation and assurance of detailed technical assessments required to (1) assess the degree and nature of HES and Regulatory exposure that mercury poses to the project, specifically including atmospheric mercury dispersion modeling, (2) assess potential HES and Regulatory impacts resulting from the presence of mercury, including health & environmental and waste management impacts, and (3) develop fit for purpose mitigation plans to support development and selection of alternatives that reduce HES and Regulatory impacts of mercury to acceptable levels, including requisite modifications to Environment Plans, Safety Cases, Licenses and Approvals
• Support Mercury Management plans also include waste management impact assessments & solutions such as collecting, handling, storing and shipping mercury internationally for disposal

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

The preferred candidate will have at least 15 years’ post-graduate engineering experience, ideally 10 years experience in HES, particularly environmental, health, government and regulatory aspects, downstream capital projects and operating assets, including:
• HES Team coordination aptitude and experience, particularly related to critical/complex assignments independently coordinated through multiple phases.
• Prior experience in coordinating HES technical studies involving facilities, operational and regulatory solutions development.
• Experience in facilitating programs requiring alignment across diverse team settings with a broad range of stakeholders, including direct engagement with all levels of management.
