The Role:
“Only candidates who already have the rights to work in Azerbaijan will be considered for this role”.
• Responsible for ensuring all vehicle movements are being recorded within the project approved JMP data base.
• Ensure that no journey is undertaken without first receiving a fully approved Journey Management Permit application form from the trip organizer.
• Responsible for ensuring vehicle VDR data is being downloaded both weekly and monthly with all down loaded data being fully analysed regarding vehicle usage and potential driving violations being contrary to project safe driving standards.
• Ensure that all vehicle movement are recorded by the VDR equipment and being conducted within project JMP standards.
• Ensure that Contractors vehicles VDR unit data are being downloaded and all downloaded data is being fully analysed for potential driving violations.
• Conduct regular audits of contractors JMP system to ensure full compliance is being maintained to project standards.
• Conduct regular audits of contractors VDR system to ensure full compliance is being maintained to within project standards.
• Conduct Contractor VDR audits to ensure calibration of units being maintained within project required standards.
• Attend all drivers’ safety meetings to ensure all drivers fully understand what is being recorded by explaining VDR data statistics / trends.


• Lead by example.
• Conduct as required JMP training seminars
• Conduct as required VDR training seminars
• Actively promote the GPO AGT Developments Transportation Standards and Policies
• Communicate, via inductions, and on-going Transportation forums, the Transportation risks and control measures as they relate to the project
Organisation

• Keep the Onshore Pipelines Transportation Plant and Equipment Safety Team Lead informed of all HSS issues related to Transportation
• Run weekly drivers HSS meetings
• Attend monthly Project HSS Team meetings
• Interface, where necessary, with AGT Region Transportation function
Working with Contractors
• Ensure that all drivers being deployed on any associated ATG Dev project have a valid state driving licence for the vehicle being assigned.
• Ensure that all project related drivers assessment and training records are valid.
• Ensure that VDR data submitted by contractor(s) is accurate.

Risk Management

• Attend risk reviews or as required
• Ensure pre-trip Risk Assessments have been conducted as per Journey Management Permit requirement prior to all transportation related field trips being undertaken.
• Ensure all assigned actions identified in the Risk Action Plans are closed on time and prior to activities commencing





Procedures

• Ensure that Onshore Pipelines Transportation Standards and Procedures are being fully implemented and adhered to by both project and contractors transportation department.
• Participate in Readiness Reviews prior to the commencement of work or individual activities.
• Act as a Team member for Onshore Pipelines Transport related incident investigations

Privilege to Operate

• Confirm that project Transportation activities are conducted in conformance with local laws and SCPx policies, standards and procedures.


Results

• Manage the reporting of all Transportation data from Projects and Contractor organisations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High skill levels in both written and verbal communication in English language.
• Ability to converse fluently in home country language plus Russian and English.
• Ability to read and write in home country language plus Russian and English.
• Self-motivated and ability to manage others
• Team player with good inters personal skills.
• Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Power-point.
• Ability to analyse basic computer data base programs

• Substantial fleet & journey management experience,
• Development of driver performance improvement plans by use of JMP data.
• Experienced in using fleet management software (VDR) and interrogating data outputs.
• Development of driver performance improvement plans by use of VDR data.
• Experienced in operating and servicing plant and mobile equipment
• Development of driver performance improvement plans by use of JMP data.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Valid Light Duty and heavy goods vehicle state licence Categories B,C,D
• Trade Qualifications related to vehicles safety and accident investigation.
• Qualification in computer sciences
