The Company:
My Client is a major Oil and Gas contractor.

The Role:
The main purpose of the role will be promotion of zero harm through fostering the development and utilization of appropriate work practices and procedures.
In addition the role will foster an appropriate HSE culture and stimulate line ownership of HSE ensuring HSE risks are managed according to Petroleum HSE Management Systems.

• Optimisation of Capital Expenditure as it relates to HSE

• Optimisation of Operating Expenditure as it relates to HSE

• Maximising Total Asset Value

• Optimising Annual Production

• Delivery of Annual Petroleum & PU KPIs

• Number of Direct reports (Employees - staff & contract) - 0

• Member of: BHPB Global Safety Network; HSE Advisors Petroleum Network; Relevant CoP

Behavioural & Leadership Competencies (BHPB LM and additional competencies) Leadership Model:

• Familiarity with Petroleum & Drilling business.

• Understanding of HSEC issues in Drilling

• Understanding HSEC issues in Petroleum.

• Minimum 2 years plus HSE experience in oil and gas

• Speciality (Marine, Exploration, Drilling or Production)

• Understanding Facility HSE

• Experience in HSE reporting systems

• Risk management and risk assessment skills.

• Technical proficiency and knowledge of Safety Case process and requirements

• Technical Proficiency in and knowledge of Operation Procedures

• Technical Proficiency in Documentation requirements.

- STOP process awareness

- Occupational Hygiene Monitoring (Site HSE Analyst only)

- Site Operations HSE procedures (Site HSE Analyst only)

- Environmental Awareness

- Hand Arm Vibration awareness (Site HSE Analyst only) Incident Management awareness
