The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
The Health and Safety Coordinator’s main role is to provide support to the Health and Safety Management Team.

Job duties:
● Act as super user of the Company Health and Safety Information System.
● Maintain databases and spreadsheets of safety statistics, audits and inspections;
● Maintain registers for isolations and lock holders;
● Maintain register of on-site vehicles;
● Manage register of incident reporting and investigations, including action follow up and close-out;
● Assign incident numbers and ensure initial notifications are correctly distributed;
● Issue incident reports and maintain register of distribution;
● Collate site hours of construction workforce and publish weekly and month statistics internally and externally;
● Preparation and presentation of training material (MS PowerPoint);
● Prepare handout material and present site inductions;
● Take minutes and records of morning huddle and monthly safety management meeting;
● Manage safety information systems and training.
● Other general office duties as and when requested.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
● 3 years experience in a safety, construction or engineering environment.
● A high level of computer skills.
● A high level of organizational skills.
● A high level of interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
● A background in safety management;
● Understanding of the nature of safety statistics, compilation and analysis;
● Ability to liaise with internal and external safety professionals in a professional and competent manner.
● Able to work to deadlines.
