The Company:
Primarily responsible for establishing the company's LNG's HSE Management System and directing the development of and overseeing the ongoing implementation of the HSE Management System for the company's LNG's operating facilities and the Corporate Office. The HSE Director will also be responsible for understanding all regulatory and permit requirements for the company's LNG operations and for ensuring the facility maintains a reliable operation that complies with all health, safety and environme

The Role:
•Prepares and manages the projects LNG HSE Management Plan and ensures organizational alignment and compliance with the plan. Develops policies and procedures and short-and long-term goals and objectives; ensures the health, safety and environmental activities are perform in accordance with all applicable state and federal guidelines and any other governmental agencies. Develops and controls the Emergency Response functions and incident reporting.
•Communicates pro-actively with management, employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies in order to provide guidance band information on health, safety and environmental concerns. Prepares written documents, reports, studies, proposals, budget documents, and correspondence to convey and analyse information for management and staff.
•Creates and maintains a compliance database of the facilities and ensures compliance with operating permits and plans.
•Maintains an understanding of emerging environmental and safety issues through seminars, conferences and coordination with outside agencies.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education

•A bachelor's degree.

Experience

•Minimum 12 years with related health, safety and environmental experience with 5 years minimum in oil and gas industry with high preference for LNG or cryogenic related industries. Operational experience is preferred.

Skills -

•Working knowledge of applicable health, safety and environmental rules and regulations in USA.
•Working knowledge on HSE Management Systems
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
•Strong communication skills
•Attention to details
•Strong organization and record keeping skills
•Prior facility and or operations experience (preferably in a LNG or other cryogenic facility
•Strong computer skills

Physical Requirements:

•Must be able to climb stairs
•DOT Requirements - The U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) and the company have adopted regulations governing the control of drug use by persons in certain job classifications. This position is subject to the Federal Pipelines Regulation; and
