The Company:
A major Oil and Gas Operator for an Offshore project.
The position is for the SURF package (Subsea Umbilicals Risers Flowlines) of the project.

The Role:
The service holder is responsible, within the Project SURF team, for coordinating all the HSSE activities during the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning and Installation phases carried out by SURF Contractor, Subcontractors and the Project SURF team to ensure the personnel safety, construction integrity, respect for the environment and reputation of the Company.

The service holder ensures that HSSE contractual requirements are duly applied by SURF Contractor.

The service holder is responsible for the review of HSSE documentation produced by SURF Contractor and Subcontractors and verifies their implementation and compliance through the day-to-day supervision of HSSE Superintendants and/or Supervisors to whom he provides assistance in HSSE methods.

The service holder enforces the Project HSE procedures and decisions/directions taken at Project Level by Project H3SE Manager.

The service holder ensures the liaison and reporting with the Project H3SE Manager and with the SURF Package Manager.

To do so, he ensures the follow-up of SURF Contractor’s HSSE activities and performances through CTR HSSE reporting and the reporting of its KPG HSSE Superintendants and/or Supervisors.

He participates regularly to inspections and audits of Contractor work sites’ HSE Management System and practices.

The service holder will actively liaise with SURF Package Manager wrt to HSSE areas of concerns, problems encountered in the implementation of HSSE both by SURF teams and SURF Contractors.

The service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules & requirements.

The service holder is also the SURF Contractor HSSE counterpart.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): 10-15

Excellent level in HSSE techniques and Auditing techniques.
SURF and Installation techniques knowledge is mandatory.
Welding, Painting/Coating and NDT techniques is mandatory.

Experience in similar position (years): mini 5-10.
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent.
Languages: English mandatory
