The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Leader, who will be responsible, on Company side, for the supervision of HSE related subjects during the plant detailed engineering and will be based in the Contractor Offices.
To define and implement with the contractor, an HSE management system for the contract and to ensure that HSE values are understood and adopted by the whole team.
To supervise the preparation of all HSE related documents and authorizations needed to launch the site construction.
Activities:
To support and monitor the HSE activities performed by the nominated contractor and insure compliance with the local regulation, company rules, procedures and contract requirement.
To provide a HSE focal point to the contractor and to the company personnel with regard to HSE management, technical and other queries..
To supervise and to ensure of the timely preparation of all HSE documents needed for construction.
To liaise with the Project HSE manager in the interaction with the contract, site preparation contract and commissioning teams to ensure that the project HSE management system (in particular the Site HSE Manual) is addressed satisfactorily.
As the occasion requires to perform and review necessary documentation in support of contruction activities and to participate in review/brainstorming meetings (e.g.HAZID/HAZOP, JSA, JRA)
To liasise with and provide support to the company engineering specialists for HSE related subjects (fire andgas dection, active fire protection, escape, evacuation, rescue etc)
To participate in the definition, recruitment and training of the Site HSE supervision team.
To evaluate/monitor site working HSE conditions related to the plant construction works.
To be proactive in promoting HSE awareness at all levels within the Project team and contractors personnel
To implement the project driving policy and ensure that all personnel adhere to it
To conduct or participate in HSE training of project personnel if required
To assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents to determine the underlyin causes of accidents/injuries.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
At least 10 years experience with large oil & gas projects in HSE functions.
Knowledge of Digs 81/2008 would be a plus.
Able to read documents in Italian language.
