The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a HSE Manager to be the primary point of HSE and related advice to the Gas Export Pipeline scope of works.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Work with GEP and HSE colleagues to develop and support Health & Safety programs as a senior member of the HSE function
• Develop and implement HSE plans, processes and procedures as part of the Project Management and Business Management Systems
• Develop and manage the implementation of the GEP execution phase HSE Plan as part of the overall offshore project
• Participate in the Emergency Response team
• Evaluate, mobilize and monitor GEP contractors and vendors
• Ensure all risks and obligations in the HAZID register are appropriately mitigated

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Minimum 15 years relevant petroleum industry experience, including the provision of HSE management programs for the development of large offshore projects
• Familiarity with subsea pipeline fabrication and installation
• Familiarity with certification, permit documentation and compliance
• Participation in key project management activities
• Management system document development

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in heavy lifting safety and lay barges is essential
• Managing HSE complexity with multiple vessels
• Delivery of HSE management input to large offshore EPC contracts
