The Company:
Our client, a major international oil and gas operator, seeks HSE Manager to join their team!

The Role:
• HES Team Lead will be a key member of the HPP leadership team and will be responsible for developing and managing the following OE/HES plans and activities in Phase 3.
• Responsible for developing and managing all OE/HES Project Execution Plans.
• Implements and maintains the Incident Injury Free (IIF) Plan.
• Promotes leadership accountability, for OE processes and results leading to an IIF project.
• Liaise with General Contractor (GC) HES support team and the CBRES HES support team.
• Tracks HES Objectives and metrics for the HPP Project and submits monthly reports.
• Provides OE direction and oversight of HPP and GC field operations
• Ensures site specific Emergency and Security Management Plans are developed, maintains and conducts at least 2 drills per year.
• Maintains and tracks performance of the HES Risk Management Plan, iHAZID, HAZOP, HES Risk Register, mitigation plans.
• Sets goals for BBS, MVS, RSIP, SWA, and implements plans for the project
• Maintains CHESM Plan, assessment and annual performance reviews
• Upon entering Phase 4, the HPP HES Team Lead will be responsible for managing the on-site HES coordination during construction. He/she will be expected to lead the contractor and sub-contractors through the IIF program, the OE/HES tools and processes developed in Phase 3, and ensure the project complies with and is committed to our clients OE culture and IIF.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree or HES Technical Degree
• 10+ years experience of HES management of field representatives and contractors on-site during construction.
• 10+ years with medium to large (1B-5B USD) major capital project (MCP) experience.
• The primary selection criteria will be the candidate's demonstrated Operational Excellence(OE) leadership behaviors and culture.
• The expectation is that the candidate will bring with him/her a strong OE culture that will help continue to improve the OE culture in the business real estate sector.
• The candidate must have strong Leadership skills to influence change at all levels of the project and organization.
• Strong demonstrated leadership ability to lead safety performance, activities and implementation to achieve an effective Incident and Injury Free (IIF) and Operational Excellence (OE) result and meet project objectives.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience with clients OEMS tools, processes, and expectations
• Project Resources Company Major Capital Project experience.
• 10+ years construction, OEMS, CSOC preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and write required OE/HES PEP deliverables in preparation for FID and Phase 4.
• CHESM, ESHI, iHAZID experience.
• High Rise construction experience.
