The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to provide and manage a HSSE team in support of the Pipeline and Subsea Marine Delivery Team with a goal of achieving project work scopes without incident, harm to people, or damage to property and environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES
• To provide HSSE support to the Pipeline and Subsea Marine Delivery Team
• To administer and manage HSSE management system within the Pipeline and Subsea Marine Delivery Team
• To monitor Contractors and sub contractors compliance with project HSSE requirements
• To review Contractors and sub contractors safety performance against project standards and goals.
• To assist and support Contractors and sub contractors in meeting fully all HSSE objectives.
• To ensure adequate HSSE resources are made available to support project work scope.
• To produce and maintain HSSE reports for management.
• To produce monthly input to the monthly HSSE report.
• To investigate and report on all near misses and incidents.
• To lead by example an HSSE team.
• To promote and support HSSE campaigns within the project.
• To promote continuous improvement in HSSE performance throughout the Pipeline and Subsea Marine Delivery Team and its contractors.
• To promote and facilitate the exchange of HSSE information within and between project delivery groups
• To provide HSE input into the Marine and Subsea HSE organisation and team on behalf of the Pipeline and Subsea Marine Delivery Team
• To provide HSSE support to the wider Marine and subsea HSE organisation and sites as directed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Technical Qualifications:
HNC or higher technical education. Lead auditor qualification for HSE management systems. Preferably a member of IOSH.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in implementing and managing HSSE management systems in the marine and offshore construction industries.
