O-HSE Site Safety Officer
Job Purpose To ensure that the Company's 0-HSE Management System is fully
functional and operational at all times within the site areas that client are asked to perform their duties and all other locations where the company is operational.
Responsible to:Managing Director/ Client Representative
Location: Dedicated Site.

• QA/QC Manager
Sub-Contractor Personnel
Key Responsibilities: To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the
provisions of the O-HSE Management System.
To ensure that the company's O-HSE management system is professionally managed in accordance with its provision, particularly in relation to regular and frequent audits, checks reviews.
To ensure O-HSE Management Procedure and Standing Instructions are implemented and monitored.
To act as the focal point for improvement in initiatives, particularly in relation to the continuous improvement of the systems and procedures governing the management of safety on site.
To ensure all required O-HSE Information is provided and recorded to ensure reporting is done as per company's requirements.

General Responsibilities:
To identify all training requirements for the department and organise all training required.
To proactively support the Safety Policy and participate in all activities related to the enhancement of the safety of all personnel employed by the company, induding but not limited to Client and Sub-contractor's personnel and visitors.
To proactively ensure that all SOL owned and/or operated plant, equipment, vehicles are used safely and in accordance with standing instructions and/or job specific work permits.
To ensure a high level of awareness of the content of the O-HSE Management Systems amongst all company employees and the criticality of their adherence to the rules associated with the discharge of their safety responsibilities.
To liaise at high level with client representatives in all matters relating to the application of the company's safety management System.
To perform investigations in the event of system failure to identify corrective and/or preventive action required to be put in place and the implementation thereof.
Assist operations with the development of a safety culture that delivers excellence in O-HSE performance.
To ensure company Permit To Work System Is implemented and daily assurance of PTW system is controlled.
Support the delivery and communication of safety related information and lessons learned safety toolbox talks, notice boards updates and safety awareness campaigns.
Participate in the risk analysis of work procedures to ensure the safety of personnel performing the work.
Assist in emergency response exercises/training and participate in real emergency situation and may be required to be on call for 24 hours on frequent base.
Support all client safety rules and procedures and ensure that all client operatives are fully aware of the expectations of the clients safety procedures and they fully adhere to them at all times when on site.
