The Role:
.• To perform regular HSE inspections and safety patrol to monitor the HSE performance on yards .
• To provide daily HSE reports on site surveys and inspections .
• To ensure that the CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTORS comply with all relevant COMPANY requirements and devote sufficient HSE resources to the project.
• To ensure safe working areas at each time, housekeeping, cable and hose management
• To control and check visual good condition of all tools and equipment used for construction
• To anticipate on site issues and report to line management
• To ensure safe working platform at all time, scaffolding compliant to standards
• To liaise regularly with the CONTRACTOR'S HSE team to solve day-to-day problems .
• To liaise with other disciplines (construction, quality) to ensure consistency regarding HSE issues .
• To participate to Tool Box Meetings and take opportunity to deliver messages to the workforce
• To conduct job safety analysis meetings with CONTRACTOR for major tasks of the project at yard .
• To assist in the coordination of HSE trainings and safety awareness as per project training requirementsand perform HSE induction for new comers and/or visitors.
• To adhere and be proactive on all activities requested by your line management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 10 years' experience in construction site HSE Supervision .
• Previous experience in a large korean taskforce environment.
• Thorough understanding of HSE management systems and risk management processes .
• Good knowledge of korean and international HSE legislation, codes of practice, etc .
• Fluency in Korean and English. French will be a plus .
