The Company:
Our client, an international oil and gas operator, is seeking an HSE Pipeline Process Engineer for one of their major projects.

The Role:
"• Take a proactive role in advising, mentoring and coaching other project team members, contractors & operation staff in reinforcing health, safety and environmental standards and requirements.
• Champion project incident and injury free program.
• Develop plans to ensure safety in the execution of the ESHMPs.
• Conducts inspections, audits and reviews as necessary to ensure compliance of ESHMPs/
• Participate/facilitate in project environmental audits,
• Assist in development and implementation, where appropriate, of the project safety plan to meet/exceed safety record for both Company & Contractor personnel.
• Assist with the develop and implementation of appropriate facility emergency response plans and contingencies. Help ensure organizational preparedness through training, tabletop drills and actual planned emergency drills for the most likely scenario.
• Technical preparation and review of environmental management plans, procedures and performance reports to support construction approvals, and readiness for commissioning and operations, as required.
• Technical review of contractor and consultancy reports.
• Participate in compliance assurance auditing and review activities as required.
• Coordinate Incident and Injury Free (IIF) program and lead initiatives through exhibiting proper leadership behaviors, delivering orientations/training, and coaching leadership team and employees.
• Support engineering and procurement effort.
• Monitor all H&S Engineering work activities
• Coordinate all subsea engineering H &S work activities
• Ensure implementation of Project HES Management Plan and Project Site Specific Safety Plan.
• Conduct site audits and inspections of Contractor’s activities to ensure HES contractor safety compliance. "

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering
Major Capital Experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
5 years experience
