The Role:
•Report findings and propose mitigating actions.
•Must have the ability to identify trade, e.g. Scaffolding , welding, cutting, working at height etc, etc unsafe practices, behaviors and rectify immediately
•Follow up on contractor's HSE performance at Yard in various locations
•Ensure that this is in accordance with the following:
HSE vision and HSE strategy
UK, Local acts and regulations.
Contract requirements regarding HSE: ISO/OHSAS (9001), 14001, 18001.
UK Standards, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) in construction-related activities.

Other Contractual requirements as required.
•Follow up general housekeeping and attitude to HSE
•Support line management
•Support Site lead in daily HSE-work.
•Play a central role in building and maintaining a strong HSE commitment and culture throughout the site team
•Play a central role in coordinating HSE activities throughout the Yard team.
•Ensure that HSE activities at the yard are coordinated with the project's overall HSE activities by coordinating with the project's QHSE lead.
•Maintain site-reporting and provide input into project management report systems e/g IMPACT, CDMS etc..

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Engineer or skilled construction worker
•Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
•Significant project Construction/Yards HSE experience
Experience as HSE-inspector/Coordinator at construction / Fabrication sites
•Experience from onshore construction / Fabrication Yard activities
