The Company:
Our client has exploration, production and development projects across over 12 countries globally. Our client has unrivalled expertise in deep water projects in a variety of locations. This oil major currently producing at 4 locations across Australia and is extensively exploring in Australian waters.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Drilling HSE Specialist to develop, coach and lead site-based HSE resources within the operating assets.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Observe Safety & Health drills carried out at the site and participate in de-briefing meeting, ensuring adherence to Company requirements
• Facilitate regular Safety & Health inspection, assessments and audit on-site in accordance with established Company Safety & Health programs or as requested by the site team
• Follow the safety requirement of the sites and immediately report hazardous work and non-conformances to the site lead for the follow up with the contractor and subcontractors
• Administer Company safety awareness, recognition and incentive programs on site

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Drilling operations and processes
• Safety rules and regulations
• O&G Industry practices, processes, and expectations with respect to drilling operations, safety, health and operations integrity
