The Company:
A multi-national Oil and Gas Operator involved in a World Class Expansion Development being fabricated in Korea.

The Role:
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (3 years+) role for an experienced HSE Specialist to be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje Island on a local basis (No Visa Sponsorship Available) and will report to the Reporting to HSE Manager-Okpo
for this World Class Project
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives
*Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
*Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS).
*Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel.
*Compliance with Ethics policies.
*Adheres to Project Execution Procedures.
*Reporting to the HSE Advisor/ HES Team Lead
*Creates and sustains a productive work culture and safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize HES related problems, i.e. human injury, environmental degradation and unsafe working conditions/practices by spending +85% of their time in the field.
*Provides support in the development of HES plans and development of HES specifications for the local team
*Maintains a working knowledge of project specific HES standards, programs and goals by learning and applying project established HES procedures
*Ensures project site adheres to company and regulatory HES standards and guidelines
*Conducts onsite risk assessment and mitigation
*Promotes and fosters HES standards and goals with programs throughout the project to ensure a safe and productive work environment
*Administers a specific function like maintaining HES-specific project files on collecting environmental or health samples, or providing personal protective equipment to project personnel
*Creates, administers and monitors HES programs involving all levels of employees on the project through presentations, printed materials, and activities
*Monitors HES programs by creating summaries/reports/presentations for HES management and makes recommendations based on interpretations
*Conducts surveys, audits, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities to monitor and track HES standards, programs and goals including project environmental data collection and documentation
*Prepares and maintains reports, or documents that may be required to meet project or JV corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of HES standards and goals
*Acts as the Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) program Leader/Champion for the Module Fabrication location. Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed and an "Injury and Incident Free" (IIF) program leader
*Remains knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures as well as perform assigned duties in a safe manner and, while supervising others, has responsibility for their safety and ensures that they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits
*Other duties as required
