The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in one of the world's largest LNG developments based in Australia, as well as other energy and resource projects.

The Role:
This role will be residentially based in Ulsan, Korea on an 8/2 week rotation paying a NET daily rate for hours worked. Inital end date will be the 31/10/13 however there is good chance this will be extended to a full 12 months term, and perhaps beyond.

The objectives of the position are:

To ensure the Gorgon site team HSE MS is implemented and maintained throughout the project duration. To work with the contractor and sub-contractors' HSE teams and construction personnel to ensure that all HSE plans and procedures for the ongoing work activities are in place and that the workforce are in compliance. To work with the contractor in developing and executing the IIF implementation Plan and to close any gaps in their HSE MS, identified through audits, incident investigations, site visits, etc.

In addition to the above you will have responsibility not limited to;

•Responsible to provide all site team members and visitors with induction into the Gorgon site team HSE MS as developed by the HHI based site team.
•Responsible to develop a site specific emergency response plan based on the ERP developed for the HHI based site team.
•Responsible in keeping the Gorgon site team informed of HSE issues through toolbox talks, alerts, etc.
•Responsible for the development of the site team HSE training matrix and the execution of the required training.
•Responsible in the effort to continuously improve on HSE induction material and to submit Learnings & Sharings to the Modules HES Manager monthly.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The position requires a professionally oriented HSE practitioner, who has significant experience in the implementation of safety, health, environmental management systems together with knowledge and experience of security management. Requirements are:

•10+ Years of Site Construction experience with at least 10 years in a safety role,
•NIOSH certified (or equivalent, e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.,
•Trained in accident investigation methods (Tripod Beta, Root Cause Analysis, etc) and proficient in incident investigation and reporting,
•Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel,
•Experienced in the implementation of HSE Plans and procedure requirements in a manner that is understood by all levels of the workforce,
•Experienced in hazard identification and implementation of mitigation procedures,

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•A recognised qualification relevant to the discipline of SHE&S, e.g., NEBOSH.
•Experience in working in a major Korean/Chinese/Indonesian fabrication yards.
