The Company:
A major oil & gas operator

The Role:
Our client is seeking a HSE supervisor to assist the HSE Supervision Leader by taking the role of HSE Supervisor and responsible to promote and provide HSE advice in the Offshore Construction Yard during construction and pre-commissioning. Maintain functional links with SPS Manager & Project HSE Manager in ensuring that HSE Policy and Objectives are incorporated in the management of the SPS activities. These activities are further outlined below.

Support the HSE activities performed by the nominated Construction Contractor (including Pre-Commissioning) in ensuring safety is given the highest priority. To ensure HSE
Management is delivered in a timely manner with quality and accuracy of prime importance.
To report progress on HSE Performance, safety reviews etc. to the HSE Lead, COMPANY Site Representative & Project HSE Manager.
To organise safety meeting (weekly meetings, monthly management and safety committee meetings) and provide a HSE focal point to nominated Construction and Pre-Commissioning
contractor and Project SPS personnel with regard to HSE management, technical and other queries.
To liaise with the HSE Supervision Leader and organise/attend risk assessment reviews (HAZIDs, JSAs, Lifting Plans, Scaffolding Plans, etc.), safety training for company & contractor
team, monitor, record HSE activities & statistics and ensure HSE site anomalies are identified, reported and followed.
To promote HSE awareness of workforce at all levels through pro – active attitude (site tour management, HSE meetings, incentive actions, etc.) within project team and contractors.
To listen, evaluate any employee concerns and ensure potential failures, weaknesses and hazards are immediately addressed and reported.
To provide support in the event of Medevac and other emergencies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years experience in a HSE role in the Oil and Gas Industry or fabrication yards, of which 5 years related to SUBSEA construction and onshore commissioning.
