The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
As HSE Team Lead you will be responsible for providing HSE leadership to support the facilities utilising your knowledge and experience to help develop systems and processes required for operations readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

· Ensuring Safety, including both Process Safety and Occupational Health and Safety, is reinforced as the highest priority consideration in conducting plant operations.
· Developing and implementing HS&E capability to support Operations
· Ensuring familiarity of plant staff and contractors with relevant regulatory obligations, particularly those aspects related to HSE standards, and establish mechanisms to monitor compliance.
· Participating in the development of multi-year operating plans for the Offshore Operations function in compliance with overall operating group planning requirements.
· Ensuring familiarity with key risks associated with activities including HSE, Business and reputational related risks and ensuring mitigating actions are identified and managed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
· Degree in relevant HSE Discipline
· Extensive experience within an operating environment on a major Oil & Gas development to include time spent in a team lead role
· Strong interpersonal skills in influencing and teamwork.
· Training and competence record indicating exposure and involvement during career in fundamental elements of plant operation (eg Emergency Management, supervision/leadership, competency assessment, incident investigation, safety improvement initiatives etc)
