The Company:
This role is with a London based Oil & Gas Operator and provides technical and administrative support to the Global Head of HSE. The role shall involve supporting the Head of HSE in the discharge of his responsibilities from support of HSE MS development/implementation, facilitating Companies ER system to the development of Company reporting requirements.

The Role:
• Support the preparation of standards & procedures, manage the document control of HSE MS documentation and support the roll out of HSE MS.
• Assist Asset Managers and overseas Operations Teams in the development of HSE Risk Registers and Risk Management Plans.
• Establish and coordinate rotas for all on call emergency response positions for CMT.
• Arrange for weekly ER operational updates to ensure personnel on call are aware of operations on going.
• Coordinate Emergency Response library of ER plans for each operation and ensure they are up to date.
• Coordinate the update of operational fast facts.
• Act as the incident management focal point to ensure consistent reporting. Input incident and work hour data entry into the system and quality control any remote third party data. Set up and run required reports from the reporting tool.
• Support the development of Company HSE audit schedule and where possible support auditing.
• Management of HSE actions arising from incidents/audits and report on status of closed, open and overdue items.
• Co-ordinate the provision of HSE training.
• Manage the provision of PPE for personnel.
• Support the management of the HSE document folders on the shared drive.
• Coordinate preparation of statistics pertaining to Company HSE activity.
• Act as focal point for occupational health and safety.
• Act as scribe for technical HSE meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience from E&P operating company
Experience of working in a HSE department

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures
Ability to work at all levels of the organisation
Strong planning and communication skills
Document management skills
Knowledge of HSE incident reporting
Advanced computing skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, MS-Word97, MS-Mail, MS-Schedule+, MS Project, Visio, Intranet, Internet, Adobe Acrobat Reader.
