The Role:
PURPOSE:
To provide HSE Competency assurance and training to the Production department that is effective and suitable to support business activities and company objectives

JOB CONTENT:
• Develop HSE training programmes to address Line competence requirements.
• Implement training programmes to address closing of identified gaps.
• Deliver training programmes
• Maintain trainee records
• Liaise with Line Supervision to identify development plans for the workforce
• Liaise with Development Coordinators to develop programmes for line staff
• Liaise with the Line to identify improvements and defects in asset equipment
• Input in to the Integrated Activity Plan
• Ensure the equipment and systems for which you have responsibility are fit for purpose and instigate corrective action as required.
• Submit required reports in a timely manner.
• Perform Emergency Response tasks as required.
• Work within operations budget
• Conduct on the job training and mentoring of local national discipline staff in the safe and efficient operation of production assets
• Conduct local national staff assessments and have an input into Mentee training records
• Maintain a flexible and positive attitude (especially with regard to the difficult working environment and highly focussed safety and security procedures)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Relevant NEBOSH Diploma plus 5 years in training development and delivery OR minimum 15 years HSE experience in oil and gas of which 5 years must be as a trainer
• Mentoring/coaching experience
• Recognised assessor qualification (D31/32 or A1) preferred
