The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the HSEQ Manager is responsible for leading and directing the project HSEQ team in providing operational HSEQ support, guidance and advice on legislative and management system compliance in line with company and client requirements.

Main Duties:
o Develop and implement the project HSEQ Improvement Plan.
o Ensure Emergency Response arrangements are in place and interface with, Client sub-contractors and Corporate company Emergency Response teams.
o Liaison with interface parties on a regular basis regarding HSE issues and HSE performance.
o Promote workforce involvement in all HSE activities.
o Maintain an effective system for monitoring HSE performance.
o Conducting HSEQ leadership visits onshore and offshore.
o Lead / participate in HSE incident investigations where required and ensure appropriate action is taken to close out incident actions.
o Monitor performance against agreed objectives, legislative standards, procedures, policies and standards.
o Facilitate awareness of quality principles and concepts, promoting the review and challenge of working practices and methods to enhance performance.
o Promote and communicate project learning's and report any deficiencies within project and corporate functions.
o Delivery of audit and assessment programme.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
o Significant experience in offshore asset HSE management.
o Experience in managing a wide breadth of technical and organisational issues.
o Knowledgeable of operations, maintenance and brown field modifications.
o Ability to identify improvement opportunities through analysis of data.
o Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and in HSEQ management.
