The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Onshore BS3 HSEQ Team, Onshore Environmental Advisors. Offshore HSE Advisors and Offshore Duty Holder Medics.

Main Duties:
o Responsible for HSEQ Critical accountabilities as described in the Installation Safety Cases and Oil Terminal COMAH Report.
o Responsible that installation Safety Cases & Oil Terminal COMAH Report align with current operational Major Accident Hazards and UKCS Regulations.
o Ensure Safety Cases & Oil Terminal COMAH Report as the operational risks are changed.
o Manage the Health provider on a day to day basis.
o Manage the HSEQ related vendor contracts.
o Maintain direct with UK Regulators.
o Ensure compliance with Corporate health programmes.
o Ensure each Installation has a relevant HSEQ plan and monitor progress against target as required.
o Assist in establishing HSE targets and strategic objectives ensuring that all HSE activities are in accordance with Company Core Values.
o Manage all HSEQ resources necessary to successfully support the Business Unit Manager, through defining clear organisational roles and responsibilities to ensure the efficient utilisation of HSEQ resources.
o Provide legislative compliant advice to the Business Unit Manager related to HSE as and when required.
o Lead the development of an HSE culture in line with the Core Values.
o Represent the Company in dealings with internal and external stakeholders on HSE related issues.
o Establish, test and maintain Emergency Response systems.
o Lead Management review of all significant incident investigations as required.
o Act as Business Unit Focal Point for function specific applications (e.g. CAIRS, HAVs, ISSOW, P2W & Impact, etc.)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in an Engineering or science related discipline, or a NEBOSH Dip (or equivalent NVQ) or higher (desired) in Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH Cert may also be considered).
• Accident / Incident Investigation.
• Root Cause Analysis Facilitating.
• Lead Auditor.
• Familiar with risk assessment software e.g. THESIS, Bow-Tie XP.
• Knowledge of ISO Standards.
• Experience in the preparation of technical documentation.
• The job holder must have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry with relevant offshore experience.
• Proven leadership experience in leading a diverse team of HSEQ professionals.
• Experience of interfacing with Regulators.
• Proven communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience and Oil & Gas knowledge (i.e.: drilling, production operations, onshore construction, commissioning activities and Diving operations).
• Experience of exposure to Emergency Response Management Systems (including oil spill mitigation and recovery.)
