The Company:
A complete range of shiprepair services: Grit blasting and coating, tank coating, steelwork renew and repair, mechanical overhauls, tailshaft work, rudder and propeller work, pipework, cargo gear repair, electrical component overhauls, and afloat repair. Capable of constructing offshore structures and ships up to 150 metres in length.

The Role:
Only Thai Nationality!

Require Offshore Experience.

Work onshore in Sonkla on Monday to mid Saturday.

Responsible for the smooth and effective safe operation of owned, managed, and third party vessels, ensuring that all Safety, Health and Environment, and Regulatory obligations are fully complied with.

Scope of Duties:
1. Collating and submitting Monthly Operation Excellence (OE) vessel visit with its performance and statistics to Head Offices and all Charterers
2. Assist in managing UWO/UWT/MEO/SVITZER HSQE documents, improve the implementation of procedures
3. Assist in implementing any new HSQE initiatives and implementing
4. Assist and motivate Shipboard Captain and C/E to submit safety reports (SSS/Hazobs/STOP Work/Near Miss report, etc)
5. Provide training to shipboard officers on MEO/SVITZER HSQE system
6. Provide training to shipboard officers on Client’s Safety Requirements
7. Provide training to shipboard officers on documentation control
8. Assist and train shipboard officers to submit monthly required documents back to office
9. Distributing QA and HSQE documents within the SKLA office
10. Attend all Charterer’s Safety meetings
11. From time to time will be required to performance Safety presentation during Charterer’s Facility or Safety meetings
12. Participating in an audit team in order to review the efficiency of the SMS system periodically and systematically
13. Reporting deviations and non-conformances in the SMS system of regional offices
14. Assist HSQE Manager on any incident investigation and provide preliminary report, subsequence with supervising the progress of preventive and/or corrective actions till close out
15. Provide quarterly News – “Lessons Learnt”
16. Assist in crewing matters regarding Operations, and OE briefing/training program of which relating to OE education
17. Assist HSQE Manager for organising all surveys and audits
18. Assist shipboard Captain in carrying out Emergency Response Drill
19. Provide safety training onboard regards to cargo handling and safe operation
20. Carry out inspection onboard vessel attended and provide report to Bangkok/Singapore office indicating current problems and suggestions for improvement
21. Assist in carry out safety audit (MEO/SVITZER HSQE system) onboard attended vessel towards the end of training and submit audit report to Bangkok and Singapore offices
22. Take initiative for proper and timely action
23. Keep HSQE Manager, and Uniwise GM advised of developments within the area of responsibility
24. Make suggestions for improvements and savings within area of responsibility
25. Meet deadlines that have been agreed on.
26. Other assignments as and when required by HSQE Manager, and UWO GM
27. To assist in other operational duties as may be required from time to time.
