The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced HSSE Assurance Advisor to provide assurance, support and advice to ensure the safe delivery of the scope and to interface with Contractor personnel. Maximise Project success and teamwork.
Ensure development and increased competency of National HSSE Advisors with a vision of full competency within a specified time
Demonstrate active and clear personal leadership in HSSE across all aspects of delivery
Provide assurance that that all hazard construction/installation actions associated with the Project scope are correctly managed to closure the Contractor performs the HSSE delivery scope in full compliance with the contract
Supports on Client’s HSSE engagement in the Contractors supply chain for the scope, and provide sites assurance that the resulting engagement activity is performed effectively
Maintains updates on HSSE performance trends – Inputs and Outputs for the Client SURF team and for the FPSO team
Participates in the project risk assessments or construction/installation HAZIDs or similar studies at different project stages and provides assurance that all resulting actions/issues are correctly managed to closure.
Supports or leads risk review sessions to identify project delivery risks and maintains HSSE mitigation plan/registers documented on behalf of Leadership / Delivery managers.
Supports delivery managers in the development of “HSSE Influence Plans” over the leadership and accountability of contractor leadership at key fabrication sites
Participate (selective basis) in Audits of HSSE during contract execution in order to ensure/assure contractor and subcontractor compliance (verifies through inspection that site control measures are implemented)
Lead and coach on effective risk assessment practices at contractor selected fabrication sites as part of monitoring and ensuring proper HSSE readiness and maintenance during contract executions.
Participates and provides assurance on the implementation on the golden rules of safety in those areas ( selected subcontractors ) of the contractor supply chain in their fabrication and offshore installation
Provides emergency response preparation and response including assurance on availability and / or for the provision of appropriate medical treatment / facilities, planning and participation in exercise and follow up on resultant actins.
Participates in GHSER/OMS self assessments and implement resulting recommendations
Coach / Liaise with contractor HSSE personnel regarding project HSSE requirements/procedures.
Tracks legislative changes and ensure an appropriate project response. Also acts as the custodian for both the environmental compliance and the environmental commitments registers.
Maintains a training schedule and ongoing training delivery (by training service providers) in line with project team schedule needs
Participates in accident / incident investigations (selected basis) and ensures that all incidents are properly and timely reported and investigated as per project procedures, including the preparation of lessons learned reports and their distribution.
Drive the full implementation of SOC / BOSS programs to enable project team’s contribution in incident prevention
Prepare/Maintain periodic HSSE reporting on inputs, outputs for the SURF team including contractor monthly data

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years HSSE experience in petrochemical Construction
NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma or equivalent
