The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced HSSE Programme Compliance Lead to develop and implement a project QHSSE Assurance and Compliance Plan
• Ensure that all risk assessments, procedures; schedules and plans are prepared and implemented during the SD2 onshore construction execution at the Sangachal Terminal.
• Ensure that Project has an effective system in place to manage its compliance with applicable Legal and Regulatory Requirements derived from a variety of documents including national legislation, Production Sharing Agreements (PSA), Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIAs) and other documents shared with regulatory agencies.

BASIC SKILLS
• High skill levels in both written and verbal communication in English language;
• Self motivated and self managing;
• Team player with good inter personal skills;
• Ability to mentor site HSSE professionals in inspection and auditing techniques;
• Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Power-point; and
• Ability to communicate at both strategic and day-to-day construction activity levels.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in one of the four core disciplines;
• Qualification as Lead Auditor; and
• Membership of professional body preferred.
EXPERIENCE

• 15 years minimum in a one or more of the HSSE disciplines;
• Experienced in developing and implementing a comprehensive HSSE Assurance and Compliance System;
• Knowledge and experience of oil & gas construction related activities including but not limited to:
o Industry best practice initiatives;
o Incident Reporting and Investigation;
o Emergency Preparedness and Response;
o Working at Height;
o Catering and Hygiene;
o Lifting operations;
o Environmental and Social Impact Management;
o Commissioning activities;
o Permit To Work (PTW);
o Knowledge and experience of trades – workshops;
o Energy Isolation;
o Hazardous substances management (COSHH);
o Plant and Equipment (PUWER);
o Health and Industrial hygiene;
o Pipeline installation;
o Radiography activities;
o Pressure testing; and
o Confined spaces.
