Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
Position description – Purpose
Provide HSSE Support to Construction Line Management and Construction HSSE Team in fulfilling the requirements of HSSE reporting, investigation and monitoring and quality of the closing the loop process (Plan-Do-Check-Improve).
A key requirement is 70% of time allocated to HSSE Performance data analysis, action tracking and reporting preparation. Being Fountain Incident Management (FIM) System Gate keeper is incremental part of the incumbent’s tasks.
The other 30% will be spent supporting the Construction HSSE Team on site, including taking part in site walkthroughs, participating in HSSE Inspections and Audits.
Position description - Accountabilities
The incumbent will functionally report to the Construction HSSE Manager and will be part of the Construction HSSE Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze HSSE Performance data and prepare reports. Trends identification and analysis.
- Act as FIM Gate Keeper.
- Act as Action Tracking Focal Point (Actions from Audits, Inspections, Incident Investigations, Site visit reports, etc.) for Construction HSSE. Follow-up and expedite with relevant action parties.
- Coordinate the Construction HSSE Team discipline meetings.
- Assist on Golden Safety Rules and Life Saving Rules implementation.
- Assist on preparation of training materials and campaigns.
- Assist in visitors and staff safety training and orientation.
- Assist the construction team with HSE incidents reporting and investigation process.
- Assist the Construction HSSE Team with reports and presentations writing.
- Assist in evaluation of HSE performance of sub-contractors. Improvements follow-up as necessary.
- Attend and interact regularly at toolbox talks and task briefings (minimum once a week).
- Assist in Shell Safety Day coordination on site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications required
1. Good planner and organizer. Self starter.
2. Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels in the organization. English language fluency is a minimum. Korean language fluency is desired.
3. Positive attitude. Team player.
4. Understands HSSE management systems and processes.
5. Discern the applicability of HS&E laws and regulations and Shell policies and standards to any activity or situation.
6. Independent, objective and analytical. Able to analyze and determine trends and root cause(s) of problems.
8. Effectively participate in diverse teams.
9. Mastery in personal computing applications, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer; database management is required.
10. HSSE Professional qualification, e.g. NEBOSH, is desired.
11. Skill in FIM data management would be an advantage.
