The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
Lead the development and implementation of contractor HSSE and S&OR within Alaska PSCM. Lead the systems, processes and behaviors to create culture of compliance and continuous improvement. A major part of the HSSE role is to develop and implement the processes that enable and assure that contractors and suppliers deliver to Company and industry standards, Company performance contracts, and PSCM common processes. This includes ensuring competent resources and structured controls are developed and implemented into the overall Region PSCM processes from an HSSE and S&OR perspective. Participate as the Alaska PSCM representative in the Contractor Safety Management Program to aid in the design / development of the segment wide program.
- Provide strong, clear and focused support to the Alaska PSCM team to ensure that HSSE and S&OR related risks are understood, assessed and mitigated.
- Foster an HSSE and S&OR culture within PSCM and the Region
- Facilitate development and completion of employee and PSCM team HSSE objectives, including workplace hazard reduction, Safety Culture enhancement and HSSE and S&OR training.
- Contribute to development of segment wide contractor safety program (CSMP) and integration in the Region
- Interface and ensure alignment with the Supplier Quality Program, embeding adequate safety criteria in the process to assess and qualify suppliers and as part of the Approved Vendor List (AVL) program.
- Participate in incident investigations and be the single point of contact for implementation of the lessons learnt into PSCM processes
- Provide supplier HSSE information and performance reporting in support of local business decisions and global reporting requirements.
- Proactively address HSSE and S&OR issues and effectively communicate with Region personnel and contractors regarding HSSE performance, strategies, policies, standards and programs; recognizing, sharing and adapting lessons learned and best practices
- Coach, influence and reinforce positive HSSE and S&OR behaviors for PSCM employees and contractors.
- Support development, implementation and monitoring of Region Business Continuity Plans and Compliance Assurance Program.
- Routinely communicate openly and honestly with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment of PSCM with the business
- Applies and champions common processes
- Promotes compliance with Company's Code of Conduct.
- Promotes achievement of Safety & Operations integrity and risk management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for the role applicants must have:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in technical or business discipline (HSSE, supply chain management, operations, business, or engineering).
To be considered for the role applicants must have:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a HSSE and/or supply chain organization.
• Understanding of services, equipment and materials for E&P operations and the marketplace.
• Good knowledge of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management and a thorough understanding of the operations and structures of other disciplines e.g. Drilling & Wells, Operations & Maintenance, and/or Projects & Engineering, and how these are integrated in an operational area.

• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
Formal PSCM / HSSE Qualification desirable.
