The Role:
• Liaise closely with Construction Hook -Up Contractor and Project Design Contractor on all Materials / Procurement Issues
• To ensure that all materials functions and onshore support facilities are available to support the activities of the hook up group
• To ensure that project materials, construction equipment, spares and supplies are available prior to transfer to offshore in accordance with the requirements of the hook up.

Main responsibilities:
• Prepare an execution plan for the coordination of all materials, spares and equipment required for the offshore hook up activities.
• Identify and ensure available all materials required for the hook-up, re-connect, deferred design, carry over and growth work as detailed by the job card system.
• Develop and materials control system to efficiently and effectively manage all materials required for the hook up
• Ensure all materials are correctly specified and in accordance with all project specifications and procedures.
• Tag materials to work packs/job cards
• Ensure all materials and equipment are procured and stored.
• Allocate locations and prepare storage plans for all materials and equipment
• Prepare inventory of all ship loose items
• Prepare inventory of all tools and special tools required.
• Ensure all stores on the platform decks and ASV are operational functional to support the HUC
• Responsible for ensuring all PPE required is available offshore to meet the demand of all personnel on board.
• Responsible for ensuring sufficient scaffolding, rigging, tools, mechanical handling gear, consumables, paint (including certification) is available offshore to meet the demand of the hook-up activities.
• Interface and coordinate with the customs and importation departments
• Interface procurement and engineering departments.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience:
Materials Management Professional with a minimum of 15 years experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Projects including the management of materials for offshore hook ups and or shut downs.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Independent self starter.
• Must be able to operate in a diverse multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment
