The Role:
This Project is a major capital, greenfield project involving the installation of a central processing complex and two wellhead platforms off the coast of Angola. The project also includes subsea pipelines, brownfield modifications to an existing wellhead platform, and brownfield modifications to an existing onshore terminal. The project is currently mid-way through fabrication. The main complex, being fabricated in Korea, consists of 5 modules: 4 modules will combine to form the processing platform, and the fifth will mainly serve as the living quarters as well as hosting the central control room. All jackets, WHP topsides, living quarters building, and two bridges are being fabricated elsewhere, mostly in Angola. The HUC planner will work in Korea with Chevron and EPCI contractor during the final fabrication as well as the installation phase with the main duty to develop a viable CPM HUC schedule including ship loose items and final integration of modules, systems completions, and any potential carryover planned in the fabrication yard but unable to complete before sail away. The potential candidate will be an active participant in the creation of the schedule and not just the client reviewer. During the HUC Phase, candidate will transition to a rotational position offshore Angola and will be expected to monitor and review the progress of the HUC campaign against the developed plan, be able to highlight problem areas and recommend remedial action, and evaluate productivity and resource usage and its effect on completion. In addition to the above duties, candidate will also support and assist the other Client planners on the project with the evaluation and forecasting of contractor fabrication and other scope schedules as well as assist with overall project controls.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: BA preferred but will consider work experience in lieu of degree.
Experience: Must have experience with HUC planning and scheduling on a greenfield project, preferably offshore. Minimum 10 years’ experience as a planner/scheduler in the oil and gas industry but will consider HUC experience. Experience with Korean EPCI contractor a +++.
Preferred Skills: Primavera 6.0 or higher (no exceptions!); effective communication and organizational skills; team player; safety focused.
