The Role:
- Assist Structural Supervisor and Naval Architect to prepare, monitor and expedite HULL construction, integration and completion activities carried out by Contractor or subcontractors related to structural discipline until FPSO sail away. It will include HULL blocks, out fittings and mooring equipment.
- Attend daily meetings, regular tool box meetings, collect information and ensure that Company
requirements are implemented.
- Apply documents necessary to monitor structural works such as drawings ITP’s, WPS, specifications certificates and working instructions for all structural construction works. Check
that the relevant document is the latest and approved one.
- Report construction problems to his management and participate in mitigation of these problems.
- Cooperate with Engineering Team, QC Team and other discipline Supervisors and Commissioning team.
- Assist in solving NCR’s Reworks and Site queries in his discipline.
- Ensure that the construction equipment used in his discipline has valid certificates and is in good and safe conditions.
- Perform other tasks in his capacity as assigned by his Supervisor and Package Management.
- Maintain good contact with Classification Society structural Inspectors to share inspection findings.

- Ensure that an effective implementation of HSE system is applied, as appropriate at site.
- Take time of checking safety documents and permits at site.
- Ensure that risk assessment prior to start new activity is properly conducted and understood by personnel involved.
- Make himself visible at site and available/approachable for discussion about HSE concerns.

- Participate in all construction activities in his discipline up to RFC with full implementation of
HSEQ directives.
- Monitor the quality of construction in his discipline and help solving construction difficulties.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience: Over 5 years experience in shipyard construction activities, preferably in Korea or for offshore projects.
Experience Quality control is required preferably supported by Welding Inspector certificate.
Available for workshops and subcontractors visits in Korea and China
Familiar with TOTAL construction and QC procedures is a plus
Language: Fluent English.
Computer literate.
Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
