Our Client is a global Oil & Gas operating company, with significant assest in Western Australia

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their Australia HR team.

This role is responsible to work with senior leaders to provide strategically aligned HR advice and support to the Australia Production Unit and business support functions in the Australia region.

The Human Resources Business Partner must demonstrate highly developed business acumen and a willingness to deal "hands on" with issues ranging from administrative to complex.
This individual must have a proactive style and a strategic sense that will ensure credibility with the management team.
The successful candidate will be adept in their ability to diagnose problems, build relationships internally and externally, interpret and apply policy and implement solutions.
This individual must understand the value of and be able to function effectively in a matrix environment where teamwork is essential.
Demonstrated experiences that reflect the ability to climb learning curves rapidly, while building productive relationships, are very important.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Partner with business leadership to provide HR support to include:
Safety Accountability
Leadership in developing and executing HR strategies
Ensures HR governance and compliance is met for all legislative and internal controls and process
Develops, implements and oversees policies/procedures and makes recommendations to senior management of relevant policies and procedures
Undertakes HR Project work in alignment with business objectives (organisational redesign, process improvement, etc.).
Is responsible for meeting all HR reporting requirements.
Is accountable for recognizing the medium-to-long term (2- to-5 year) need for resources and planning to fill requirements by means of successful retention and recruitment.
Provides advice to key stakeholders related to employee relations and organisational issues.
Ensures that HR data is current and accurate, prepares and delivers reports and presentations as necessary.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources, including:
Australia and/or International HR
Rewards/remuneration systems
Employee relations and dispute resolution
Performance development and management systems
HR information systems
Redeployment and redundancy process
Organisation Development & Change Management
Demonstrated generalist HR internal consulting experience with senior line managers
Experience in the development and implementation of HR policies/procedures
Project management experience
